RETIREMENT OF THE GROUP COMPANY SECRETARY
In terms of Nedbank Group`s normal retirement policy, Gawie Nienaber, Group
Company Secretary for Nedbank Group and Nedbank will formally retire from the
Group on 30 September 2012. Gawie joined the Corporate Finance Division of
Finansbank in 1980 and was appointed Group Company Secretary in 1993.
Dr Reuel Khoza, Chairman of Nedbank Group, said `Gawie Nienaber, our long-
serving Group Company Secretary, is retiring from the group after a very
distinguished career in the Group. We wish Gawie well in the future and thank
him for his outstanding contribution in this important role in the
organisation.`
An announcement will be made in due course regarding the appointment of a
successor to the current Group Company Secretary.
