CHANGE TO COMPOSITION OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, shareholders are hereby advised of the appointment of Mr Stephen
Pell (54) (BSc Building Management) as an executive director of Aveng with
effect from 1 June 2012. Mr Pell has extensive experience in the
construction industry in South Africa and internationally, including on the
African continent and the Middle East. During his career over the past 33
years he has held senior executive positions at Murray & Roberts, Stocks
Building Africa where he was CEO and subsequently executive director of
Stefanutti Stocks. His executive responsibilities at Aveng will include
managing Strategic Group initiatives, Continuous Improvement and Project
Assurance.
Following the appointment and with effect from 1 June 2012, the Board of
Aveng will be constituted as follows -
