VOLUNTARY SUSPENSION OF THE LISTING OF THE COMPANY`S SHARES
The attention of Sanyati shareholders is drawn to the cautionary announcement
that was published on SENS and in the South African press on 10 May in which
Sanyati shareholders were advised that the Company is in negotiations which
may have a material impact on Sanyati`s share price. Sanyati shareholders are
advised that these negotiations are on-going.
Sanyati`s operations have been materially impacted by long outstanding and
significant payments owing from certain government clients which has affected
the Company`s liquidity. The primary objective of the negotiations is aimed at
securing the necessary short term and long term funding requirements to
overcome these major difficulties.
In order to sustain shareholder value and provide management with the
opportunity to finalise these negotiations, the executive directors have taken
a decision to request the suspension of the listing of the Company`s shares on
the JSE Limited with immediate effect.
A further announcement in this regard will be made as soon as further
information is available
