REVISED TRADING UPDATE
In terms of paragraph 3.4 (b) of the JSE Limited ("JSE") Listings Requirements,
companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become
reasonably certain that the financial results for the period to be reported on
will differ by more than 20% from the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, a review of the financial results for the year ending 29 February
2012 by management has indicated that the earnings per share is expected to
increase by more than 20% when compared to those reported for the previous
corresponding period.
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 3 April 2012
and are advised that Gooderson is currently finalizing its results for the year
ended 29 February 2012 and advises that the earnings and headline earnings per
share for the period are expected to increase by between 52% and 62% compared to
the previous corresponding period.
The increase in profits results from inter alia, the increase in government and
corporate spend in the conference divisions of Gooderson Hotels and increase in
timeshare sales.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed by Gooderson`s auditors.
The results for the period ended 29 February 2012 are expected to be published
on SENS tomorrow.
