UPDATE TO SHAREHOLDERS
Shareholders are referred to the announcements relating to the Company`s interim
results for the period ended 30 August 2011 released on SENS on 9 December 2011
and the update to shareholders released on SENS on 30 April 2012.
Due to the continued uncertainty relating to several High Court cases in Lesotho
and in the North Gauteng High Court, Thabex has to date not been able to
successfully conclude an underwriting agreement for the proposed R10 million
rights offer.
Thabex has been informed by the JSE that the Company`s listing will be
terminated, in terms of Section 3.25 of the JSE Listings Requirements, should
Thabex have another disclaimer on its financial statements for the year ended 29
February 2012.
In order to ensure that a disclaimer is not issued by the Company`s auditors and
due to the delays in securing an underwriting agreement, the Company`s
provisional results for the year ended 29 February 2012 will be published in due
course, when an underwriting agreement has been secured.
