APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, the Board of Directors of Verimark ("Board") is pleased to announce
that Mr Mitesh Patel has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director
of the Board with effect from Monday 28 May 2012. He has further been appointed
as Chairman of the Social, Ethics and Transformation Committee and his election
as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee will further be proposed at the
forthcoming Annual General Meeting.
Mitesh, currently the Managing Partner of Nkonki Incorporated, holds a Bcompt
Honours and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
He serves as Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committees of Stratcorp Empowerment
Investments, Stratcorp Limited and Skinwell Limited. He further serves as the
Board Chairman of African Cellular Towers Limited and Wearne Limited.
Mitesh is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants,
Independent Regulatory Board of Auditors, Institute of Internal Auditors and the
Institute of Directors
