LIMITED
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 30 January
2012, informing shareholders that Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited
("Harmony") had signed a sale of shares and claims agreement with a consortium
comprising Pan African Resources PLC and Witwatersrand Consolidated Gold
Resources Limited (together, the "Consortium"), for the disposal of Harmony`s
entire interest in Evander Gold Mines Limited ("Evander").
The Consortium has advised Harmony that it could not effect fulfilment of
certain of the conditions precedent to the sale of shares and claims agreement.
The agreement has accordingly been terminated with immediate effect with the
consent of all parties.
