APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR
The board of Woolworths Holdings is delighted to announce that Andrew Higginson
has been appointed as a director of the Company, classified as a non-executive,
with effect from 1 June 2012.
Andrew has held a number of senior leadership roles in retail in Britain. He is
currently the Chief Executive Retailing Services of Tesco Plc and will retire
from this position effective 1 September 2012. He previously held the position
of Finance director at Tesco Plc and at several other British based retail
chains.
He has also served as a non-executive director and as the chairman of audit
committees for a number of companies listed on the London Stock Exchange.
