TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the JSE Listings Requirements, listed companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as the board of directors is satisfied that
a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the next
reporting period will vary by more than 20% from those of the previous
corresponding reporting period or from a profit forecast or trading statement
previously provided to the market in relation to such period.
The board of directors of the Company has reasonable certainty that the earnings
per share and headline earnings per share for the interim period ended 29
February 2012 will be at least 20% lower than the prior period ended 28 February
2011 results but does not have reasonable certainty to provide guidance on a
range to describe the differences.
The interim results for the period ended 29 February 2012 are in the process of
being finalised and are expected to be released in due course.
The information detailed above has not been reviewed or reported on by the
Company`s auditors.
