DIRECTORATE CHANGE
7 June 2012: African Eagle Resources plc ("African Eagle" or the "Company")
(AIM: AFE; AltX: AEA) today announces Andrew Robertson, Finance Director, is
leaving the Company to pursue other interests.
The Company expects to announce the appointment of a new Finance Director
shortly. In the meantime, an interim Chief Financial Officer has been
appointed to oversee the finance function of the Company.
Commenting on the announcement, African Eagle`s Chairman Chris Pointon said
"I would like to thank Andrew for his considerable help over the past six
months in progressing our transition to focus on Dutwa`s development and we
wish him the best in his future endeavours."
Accordingly, resolution 4 set out in the notice of annual general meeting
due to be held on Wednesday 20 June 2012, which asks shareholders to approve
Andrew Robertson`s re-election as a Director of the Company, is withdrawn by
the Board and will not be put to vote by the shareholders at the annual
general meeting.
