7,768 ordinary shares were transferred from treasury shares on 13 June 2012
in respect of the grant and vesting of awards under the Company`s share plans.
Following the transfer, Anglo American plc has a total of 15,343,238 ordinary
shares held in treasury and a total of 1,390,111,695 ordinary shares in issue,
excluding treasury shares.
