UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING DISCUSSIONS BETWEEN TIGER BRANDS AND DANGOTE
INDUSTRIES LIMITED ("DANGOTE") IN RESPECT OF DANGOTE`S SHAREHOLDING IN DANGOTE
FLOUR MILLS PLC ("DFM") AND FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 7 May 2012 regarding
discussions between Tiger Brands and Dangote (collectively, "the Parties") in
respect of Dangote`s shareholding in DFM, a market leader in the Nigerian flour
and pasta markets.
Discussions with DIL have continued constructively and it is anticipated that a
further announcement will be made in the near future.
Shareholders are therefore advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing
in the Company`s securities until a further announcement is made.
