RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
20 June 2012: African Eagle Resources plc ("African Eagle" or the "Company")
(AIM: AFE; AltX: AEA) is pleased to announce that all the resolutions put to
the meeting were passed at the Annual General Meeting held earlier today.
The Company also announces that, after the Annual General Meeting today, the
Board appointed Mr. Robert McLearon as Interim Executive Director and Group
Financial Controller. It is intended that Mr. McLearon will fulfil the role
of Interim Executive Director until the appointment of a full time Finance
Director.
Robert Jonathan McLearon, aged 35, also currently serves as Chief Financial
Officer at African Eagle`s subsidiary undertaking, Cobra Copper. Prior to
joining the Company, Mr McLearon held positions as Financial Controller and
Company Secretary at ENK plc and Corporate Controller at Baltic Oil Terminals
plc.
Save as set out above, there are no details in relation to the appointment
which need to be disclosed under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM
Rules.
