NOTIFICATION IN TERMS OF SECTION 122(3) OF THE COMPANIES ACT AND SECTION 3.83(b)
OF THE JSE LISTINGS REQUIREMENTS
In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 ("the
Act"), and section 3.83(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements, holders of ordinary
shares in the Company are advised that:
(i) RMB Investments and Advisory (Proprietary) Limited ("RMB") has disposed of
a beneficial interest in ordinary shares of Control Instruments, such that
its beneficial interests in the ordinary shares of Control Instruments now
amounts to 4.9% of the total number of shares in issue.
(ii) Kanthu Nkhama Automotive (Proprietary) Limited, ("Kanthu Nkhama"), has
acquired a beneficial interest in ordinary shares of Control Instruments,
such that its beneficial interests in the ordinary shares of Control
Instruments amount to 25.1% of the total number of shares in issue.
Control Instruments hereby confirms that it has received the required
notices from RMB and Kanthu Nkhama in terms of sections 122(1)(b) and
122(1)(a) respectively of the Act. As required in terms of section
122(3)(a) of the Act, Control Instruments has filed the required notices
with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
