RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR
It is with regret that the board of the company announces, in terms of paragraph 3.59 of
the JSE Listings Requirements, the resignation of Mark James Van Lill Sardi as an
executive director of the company and chief financial officer of the Truworths International
Limited group.
Mr Sardi will be vacating his position, after serving out a notice period expected to last at
least until the end of the 2012 calendar year, in order to take up the position as deputy
chief executive officer in a listed pharmaceutical group.
Mr Sardi has been a director of the company since February 2011 having joined the
group as designate chief financial officer in July 2010.
In announcing his resignation today, the board paid tribute to Mr Sardis contribution,
congratulated him on his new appointment, and noted that it will progress steps to identify
a successor to lead the groups well established finance team.
