DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE INL SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for INVESTEC LTD and that as a result of the
dividend declaration relating to INVESTEC LTD (INL) the Trustees of the Share Instalment Trust have
declared a dividend amount of 121 cents per INLNIE share instalment that is payable on Monday, 06
August 2012. The dividend is subject to a local tax of 15 percent. STC credits utilized equate to
0.9466 cents per share instalment. This results in a net dividend of 117.05 per share instalment. The
payment will be rounded to two decimal places.
The dividend has been recommended by the board subject to shareholder approval being obtained
at the annual general meeting scheduled for the 2 August 2012.
The last day to trade cum-dividend is Friday, 20 July 2012. The Share Instalment will commence
trading ex-dividend from Monday, 23 July 2012. The record date will be Friday, 27 July 2012.
