from treasury shares on 17 July 2012 in respect of the grant and vesting of awards under the Companys share plans.
Following the transfer, Anglo American plc has a total of 15,302,070 ordinary shares held in treasury and a
total of 1,390,155,102 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
