DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE AGL SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for ANGLO AMERICAN PLC and that as a
result of the dividend declaration relating to ANGLO AMERICAN PLC (AGL) the Trustees of the Share
Instalment Trust have declared a dividend amount of 268.89 cents per AGLNNF share instalment
that is payable on Thursday, 13 September 2012. The dividend is subject to a local tax of 15 percent.
No STC credits were utilized. This results in a net dividend of 228.5565 per share instalment. The
payment will be rounded to two decimal places.
The last day to trade cum-dividend is Friday, 10 August 2012. The Share Instalment will commence
trading ex-dividend from Monday, 13 August 2012. The record date will be Friday, 17 August 2012.
