Shareholders are advised that Baroness Lynda Chalker has notified the board of Group Five that she will
be retiring as independent non-executive director of the company with effect from 6 November 2012
after the Group’s Annual General Meeting.
The board wishes to extend its special appreciation to, Baroness Lynda Chalker, after 12 years of
outstanding service to Group Five, particularly her insight into Africa and her chairmanship of the
Group’s SED Board committee.
