TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably
certain that the financial results for the period to be reported on next
will differ by more than 20% from those of the previous corresponding
period.
Shareholders are hereby advised that a reasonable degree of certainty
exists that the earnings per share for the six months ended 30 June 2012 is
expected to be between 10 and 14 cents per share (2011: 77 cents). Headline
earnings per share is expected to be between 4 and 6 cents per share (2011:
-10 cents).
The information contained in this trading statement has not been reviewed
or reported on by the Company's external auditors. R&E expects to release
its financial results for the six months ended 30 June 2012 on or about 17
August 2012.
