CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Unitholders of Fountainhead (“Unitholders”) are referred to the announcements released on the Securities
Exchange News Service of the JSE Limited on 30 March 2012 and 26 July 2012, respectively.
Unitholders are advised that following the implementation of the acquisition by Redefine Properties
Limited (“Redefine”) of the management company of Fountainhead (“the Acquisition”) on 1 August 2012,
Fountainhead and Redefine have entered into formal discussions relating to an offer by Redefine to
acquire all of the assets of Fountainhead in return for a combination of Redefine units and units in Hyprop
Investments Limited.
Accordingly, Unitholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in their Fountainhead units until
further announcements are made in this regard.
