SECTION 122 NOTICE AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are advised that the Company has received
notification from liquidators of African Heritage Investments
Proprietary Limited (in liquidation) (“AHI”) that it has
disposed of AHI’s 56.92% interest in AH-Vest and that AHI no
longer holds an interest in AH-Vest. The Company has
furthermore received notification from the Eastern Trading
Company Proprietary Limited (“Eastern Trading”) that it has
acquired a 56.92% interest in the ordinary share capital of
the Company.
Receipt of these notifications implies that the bidding
process for the shares held by AHI has now been concluded and
that Eastern Trading has acquired a controlling interest in
AH-Vest. Shareholders are accordingly advised to exercise
caution when dealing in the Company’s securities until such
time as Eastern Trading has released a firm intention to make
an offer to the minority shareholders of AH-Vest announcement
in compliance with the Takeover provisions of the Companies
Act, 2008.
