DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE SHP SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for SHOPRITE HLDGS LTD and that as a result
of the dividend declaration relating to SHOPRITE HLDGS LTD (SHP) the Trustees of the Share
Instalment Trust have declared a dividend amount of 194 cents per SHPNIG share instalment that is
payable on Monday, 17 September 2012. The dividend is subject to a local tax of 15 percent. No STC
credits were utilized. This results in a net dividend of 164.9 cents per share instalment. The final
payment will be rounded to two decimal places.
The last day to trade cum-dividend is Friday, 07 September 2012. The Share Instalment will
commence trading ex-dividend from Monday, 10 September 2012. The record date will be Friday, 14
September 2012.
