DECLARATION OF A DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT ON GROWTHPOINT PROPERTIES LIMITED-
VARIABLE STRIKE WARRANT- GRTIHA
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Growthpoint Holdings Limited declared a final
dividend of 0.07113 cents and a debenture interest payment of 71.12887 cents, totaling an amount of 71.20 cents
per ordinary share payable on Tuesday, 25 September 2012, to ordinary shareholders and recorded in the books
of the company at the close of business on Friday, 21 September 2012.
In terms of the new Dividend Tax effective 1 April 2012, the following additional information is disclosed:
1) local dividend tax rate is 15%;
2) No STC credits utilised;
3) net local dividend amount 0.06046 cents per share for shareholders liable to pay the new Dividends Tax and
0.07113 cents per share for shareholders exempt from paying the new Dividends Tax; and
4) the issued share capital of Growthpoint Properties Limited is 1,743,080,918 ordinary shares.
Accordingly, the holders of GRTIHA will receive a Growthpoint Properties Limited distribution amount per security
on Tuesday, 25 September 2012, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the
holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade (“cum” the dividend) in order to participate in the
dividend will be Friday, 14 September 2012.
GRTIHA Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading “ex” the dividend from the commencement of
business on Monday, 17 September 2012, and the record date will be Friday, 21 September 2012.
