RETIREMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, notification is hereby given that Mr D B (Dave) Gibbon has
retired as a non-executive director of SPAR, with effect from 7 August
2012.
Dave was appointed to the Board in 2004. SPAR’s Board of directors thanks
him for the value that his insight and experience continued to add as a
non-executive director and acknowledges his contribution as chairman of
the Audit Committee. Mr C F (Chris) Wells, also a non-executive director,
will assume the responsibility of chairman of the Audit Committee with
immediate effect.
