CLOSED PERIOD SHARE REPURCHASE PROGRAMME
Shareholders are hereby advised that Afrimat has, via its subsidiary company, granted a mandate for
the repurchase of its ordinary shares during its closed period. This period commences on 1 September
2012 and terminates on or about 1 November 2012 when the Company is scheduled to publish its
interim results.
The mandate has been entered into with a single agent who has full discretion in executing the
Repurchase Programme. The intention is to repurchase a maximum of 5 million Afrimat shares for an
aggregate consideration not exceeding R32.5 million. Any repurchase of shares may not be executed at
a price greater than 10% above the weighted average traded price for Afrimat ordinary shares for the
five business days immediately preceding the date on which any such repurchase is affected.
