DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON NASPERS LIMITED HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES - (“NPNIHA”)
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Naspers Limited have declared a dividend of 335 cents
per ordinary share payable on Tuesday, 25 September 2012 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the
company at the close of business on Friday , 21 September 2012.
In terms of the new Dividend Tax effective 1 April 2012, the following additional information is disclosed:
1) local dividend tax rate is 15%;
2) STC credits utilised is 121.91778 cents per share;
3) net local dividend amount is 303.03767 per share for shareholders liable to pay the new Dividends Tax and 335
cents per share for shareholders exempt from paying the new Dividends Tax; and
4) the issued share capital of Naspers Limited is 411,711,353 ordinary shares.
Accordingly, the holders of NPNIHA will receive a Naspers Limited dividend amount per ordinary share payable on
Tuesday, 25 September 2012 in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders
and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade (“cum” the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be
Friday, 14 September 2012.
NPNIHA Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading “ex” the dividend from the commencement of
business on Monday, 17 September 2012 and the record date will be Friday, 21 September 2012.
