RESIGNATION OF A DIRECTOR
It is with regret that we announce the resignation of Freda Evans
as an executive director and chief financial officer of the
Johannesburg Stock Exchange (“the JSE”) with effect from the end
of September 2012.
For some time, we have been discussing Ms Evans’ desire to go and
do some things outside the JSE and we have agreed that now would
be an appropriate time for her to leave the JSE.
Ms. Evans has been an executive director of the JSE since 2008
having joined the JSE as chief financial officer in 2000.
The board extends its appreciation to Ms. Evans for her
contribution to the JSE and wishes her success in
her future endeavours. The appointment of a new chief financial
officer will be considered by the board in due course.
