TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required to publish a
Trading Statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the financial results for the period
to be reported on next will differ by more than 20% from those of the previous corresponding
period.
The board of directors of London Finance & Investment Group P.L.C. advises that its earnings per
share for the year ended 30th June 2012 are expected to decrease by between 40 - 60% and headline
earnings per share for the year ended 30 June 2012 are expected to increase by between 1,500%.
Shareholders are advised that the content of this statement and the financial information it is based
on has not been reviewed and reported on by the company’s auditors. London Finance &
Investment Group P.L.C will release its preliminary results for the year ended 30 th June 2012 on or
about 29th September 2012
