DISTRIBUTION FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT
Following the previous announcement detailing a possible quarterly distribution by RMB Mid Cap
Exchange Traded Fund to holders of RMB Mid Cap Securities, the manager and trustees (namely RMB
CIS MANCO (Pty) Limited and ABSA Bank Limited) have resolved to make a quarterly distribution to
holders of RMB Mid Cap securities for the quarter ended 30 September 2012. The distribution will amount
to 12.06 cents (R0.1206) per RMB Mid Cap security;
* be constituted 11.65 cents (R0.1165) in respect of local dividends;
and 0.41 cents (R0.0041) in respect of other income;
* be made to all holders of RMB Mid Cap securities recorded in the register on 5 October 2012;
and
* be effected on 9 October 2012.
Additional information:
The dividend distribution as outline above is subject to the Dividend Tax that was introduced with effect
from 1 April 2012.The dividend, as defined in the Income Tax Act of 1962 is payable from dividends
accumulated in the fund. The South African Dividend Tax rate is 15%. Secondary Tax on Companies
(STC) credits available amount to 1.49 cents per security.
The net amount payable to holders of RMB Mid Cap securities who are not exempt from Dividend Tax is
10,126 cents per security, while it is 12.06 cents per security to those holders who are exempt from
Dividend Tax. There are 1,800,000 RMB Mid Cap securities in issue. The total distribution amount
payable is R 217,080.00.
