DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT
Holders of STANLIBSX securities ("Securities Holders") are referred to the
announcement dated Tuesday, 04 September 2012 setting out details of a
possible quarterly distribution by the ETF to Securities Holders.
Further to the above mentioned announcement, the manager of the STANLIB ETF
Collective Investment Scheme (“the Manager”) has resolved to make a quarterly
distribution to Securities Holders for the quarter ended 30 September 2012
("the Distribution") in an amount of 7.46000 cents per STANLIBSX ETF
security. The distribution will be constituted as follows:
Gross Dividend(local) to be taxed : 3.51000 cents
STC credits : 0.51000 cents
Local Tax (15%) : 0.45000 cents
Net dividend : 3.06000 cents
Gross Dividend(foreign)to be taxed(15%) : 1.81000 cents
Foreign Withholding Tax (3.31500%) : 0.06000 cents
Tax Applicable (11.68500%) : 0.21150 cents
Net Dividend : 1.53850 cents
Interest : 0.32000 cent
Scrip Lending : 1.37000 cents
The Security Holders who are not exempt from dividend tax will receive the
Net Dividend of 4.59850.
The Distribution will be made to all Securities Holders recorded in the
register on Friday, 28 September 2012 and will be paid on Friday, 12 October
2012.
