REVISED TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the trading statement released on SENS on 26
September 2012 wherein they were advised that the directors of Awethu anticipated
that basic earnings per share (“EPS”) for the year ended 30 June 2012 would be in
the region of 3.12 to 3.20 cents per share and headline earnings per share (“HEPS”)
of 3.12 to 3.20 cents per share from the basic loss per share of 2.76 cents and
headline loss per share of 2.03 cents reported for the previous corresponding period
being the year ended 30 June 2011.
Shareholders are now advised that the Company is reasonably certain that its HEPS
for the 12 months ended 30 June 2012 will be in the region of 1.50 to 1.60 cents per
share compared to last year’s headline loss per share of 2.03 cents per share and the
range for its EPS will be 1.50 to 1.60 cents per share compared to last year’s loss per
share of 2.76 cents per share.
The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company’s
auditors. The Company’s financial results for the year ended 30 June 2012 are
expected to be published on or about 12 October 2012.
