WITHDRAWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT & CORRECTION
ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the announcement of:
- a mandatory offer to be made by African Dune Investments
311 (Pty) Limited (“the African Dune Offer”) on SENS on 21
September 2012; and
- a joint firm intention announcement released on SENS on 8
October 2012 insofar the firm intention offer made by the
Industrial Development Corporation Limited on behalf of a
private company to be nominated (“the IDC Offer”).
Following the announcement of the African Dune Offer and the
IDC Offer, shareholders are no longer required to exercise
caution when dealing in Dorbyl securities.
CORRECTION ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the trading statement announced
on SENS on 4 October 2012 (“the October SENS”) and are advised
that the basic loss per share and headline loss per share
attributable to ordinary shareholders for the six months ended
30 September 2012 are expected to be an improvement of more
than 20% on the basic loss per share and headline loss per
share attributable to ordinary shareholders for the interim
period ended 30 September 2011.
The Company remains unable to quantify, with reasonable
certainty, the expected financial results for the financial
period to be reported on and will release an updated trading
statement once the Company is able to quantify, with
reasonable certainty, the expected financial results.
