In order to comply with rule 3.84(j) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
which requires an arms-length relationship between the company secretary and the board
of directors, Deloitte & Touche Sponsor Services (Pty) Limited is authorised to announce
that CJ Coetzee will relinquish the role of company secretary with effect from 1
November 2012 and the board hereby appoints Sirkien van Schalkwyk as the company
secretary with effect from 1 November 2012.
Sirkien van Schalkwyk completed her BLC in 1998 and entered into the company
secretarial market and completed her LLB while performing assistant company
secretarial duties at a listed company. In 2005, she started her own company secretarial
business, specialising in implementing and maintaining internal controls and governance
structures.
