REVISED SALIENT DATES AND TIMES ON THE SHARE CONSOLIDATION FINALISATION
ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the SENS announcement dated 3 October 2012 and the circular dated
2 October 2012, regarding inter alia the consolidation on a 100:1 basis of the authorised and issued share
capital of Alert Steel (“Share Consolidation”) and the SENS announcement dated 9 November 2012
regarding the delay in the salient dates and times of the Share Consolidation.
A certificate of confirmation from the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission in relation to the
relevant special resolutions regarding the Share Consolidation has now been received.
In light of the receipt of such certificate of confirmation, the revised salient dates and times of the Share
Consolidation are accordingly set out below:
2012
Last date to trade in Shares before the Share Consolidation Friday, 30 November
Consolidated Shares trade under new ISIN: ZAE000170395 Monday, 3 December
Record date to determine those Shareholders whose Shares will be subject to Friday, 7 December
the Share Consolidation ("Record Date")
Dematerialised shareholders accounts at CDSP's or brokers updated in Monday10 December
respect of the Share Consolidation
Replacement share certificates posted to certificated shareholders provided Monday,10 December
their existing share certificates are surrendered by 12:00 on the Record Date
(otherwise within five business days after receipt of such existing share
certificates), on or about
