APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARDS OF CAPITEC AND CAPITEC BANK
The directors of Capitec and Capitec Bank, the wholly owned
banking subsidiary of Capitec (“the companies”) are pleased
to announce the appointment of Mr Gerrit (Boel) Pretorius as
an independent non-executive director to the boards of both
the companies with effect from 19 November 2012.
Mr Pretorius is a qualified engineer and holds an LLB
degree. He served on the board of Reunert since 1991 and as
CEO from 1997 until his retirement in 2010. He currently
serves on the boards of several companies including Digicore
Holdings, ARB Holdings, RECM and Calibre and Pioneer Foods.
