POSSIBLE SUSPENSION OF THE COMPANY’S SHARES
In compliance with the JSE Listing Requirements, shareholders are
advised that the Company’s shares may possibly be suspended by the
JSE on 19 December 2012, unless the Company is able to conclude an
agreement relating to the acquisition of a viable asset prior to
this date.
The Board of Directors (“Board”) wish to confirm that it has
considered multiple opportunities which were either not feasible
or viable due to inflated price expectations and would therefore
not have been value accretive for shareholders, particularly
against the background of instability and sustainability
challenges in the Mining and related sub sectors.
In the interim, the Board will continue to evaluate appropriate
assets for acquisitions.
