DECLARED INTERIM DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON MR PRICE GROUP LIMITED HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND
SECURITIES – (“MPCIHA”)
With reference to the interim dividend announcement, the Directors of Mr Price Group Limited have declared an
interim dividend of 133 cents per ordinary share payable on Tuesday, 18 December 2012 to ordinary
shareholders, recorded in the books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 14 December 2012.
In terms of the new Dividend Tax effective 1 April 2012, the following additional information is disclosed:
1) local dividend tax rate is 15%,
2) no STC credits utilised;
3) net local dividend amount of 113.05 cents per share for shareholders liable to pay the new Dividend Tax and
133 cents per share for shareholders exempt from paying the new Dividend Tax; and
4) the issued share capital of Mr Price Group Limited is 250,750,410 ordinary shares
Accordingly, the holders of MPCIHA will receive a dividend amount on Tuesday, 18 December 2012 in terms of
the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day
to trade (“cum” the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend is Friday, 7 December 2012.
MPCIHA Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading “ex” the dividend from the commencement of
business on Monday, 10 December 2012, and the record date will be Friday, 14 December 2012.
