RESULTS OF THE GENERAL AND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGS OF UBUBELE AND
APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
General Meeting
The Company is pleased to announce that at the general meeting of
shareholders of Ububele held Thursday, 29 November 2012, all of
the ordinary and special resolutions, tabled in the notice of
general meeting, were passed by the requisite majority of
shareholders.
Annual General Meeting
Shareholders are further advised that, at the annual general meeting of
shareholders of Ububele also held Thursday, 29 November 2012, all of the
proposed ordinary and special resolutions tabled in the notice of annual
general meeting posted to shareholders, were approved by the requisite
majority shareholders.
APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In accordance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the
JSE Limited, shareholders are hereby advised that Mr Leonaro Nicolo
Altini (“Leonardo”) has been appointed as a non-executive director of
the Company with immediate effect.
Leonardo is a CA (SA) and completed his articles with KPMG Inc. in
2008. He worked as a manager in KPMG’s financial services’ banking
division from 2008 until 2011 with main responsibilities for
audits of several of SA’s top banks. He left KPMG in 2011, to
become one of the founding members of the private investment
company, Miramare Investments (Pty) Ltd.
The board welcomes the appointment of Leonardo and looks forward to his
contributions.
