UPDATE ON INTERIM AND ESTIMATED FINAL DISTRIBUTIONS
In the company`s annual report for the period ended August 2007, shareholders
were informed of the lapse of the appeal by the Minister of Trade & Industry
("the Minister") against the decision of the High Court directing the Minister
to release the report of the investigators into the affairs of Corpcapital.
Subsequent to the publication of the company`s interim results to 29 February
2008, the State Attorney has informed the company`s attorneys that the Minister
intends to apply for condonation for the late prosecution of the appeal and, if
condonation is granted, to pursue the appeal.
These circumstances and the outcome of further proceedings may affect the
proposed payment of a further interim distribution and the estimated final
distribution, as referred to in the interim results to 29 February 2008,
released on 30 May 2008.
