CHANGES TO THE BOARD
In terms of section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are advised
that Mr JA Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Miranda has resigned with effect 30 November 2012.
The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Mick Cook as Managing Director of
Miranda with effect 3 December 2012. Mr Cook was originally appointed to the Board in January
2008 and was responsible for marketing and investor relations. He resigned from the Board in August
2011.
Since January 2012, Mr Cook has been extensively involved in the transformation, restructuring and
recapitalisation of Miranda after the acquisition by Incubex Minerals Limited of the shares of Global
PS Mining Services and the withdrawal of the business rescue application by Mr Ron Nel.
Mr Cook has extensive experience in the mining insurance industry, particularly diamonds and has
worked in seven major African markets. The Company believes that Mr Cook will play a vital part in
the transformation of Miranda and to assist the Company to achieve its short and medium term goals
being that of bringing its current assets to account and to bring new deal flow to the Company.
