Village refers its shareholders to the announcement released on SENS on 6 December 2012 regarding an
unprotected strike at its Blyvooruitzicht Gold Mine (‘’Blyvoor’’). Village is pleased to advise that operations
at Blyvoor have returned to normal with all employees returning to work with effect from the night shift on
6 December 2012.
