Shareholders of Sentula (“Shareholders”) are referred to the announcement released on the Securities
Exchange News Service of the JSE Limited on Monday, 29 October 2012 and published in the press on
Tuesday, 30 October 2012, which sets out the terms of the proposed introduction of Thebe Mining
Resources (Proprietary) Limited (through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Main Street 1057 Proprietary
Limited) as Sentula’s Strategic Black Economic Empowerment Partner as a 40% shareholder in Sentula’s
existing empowerment consortium, Shanike Investments No 171 Proprietary Limited (RF) (“Transaction”).
Shareholders are advised that the conditions precedent to the Transaction have now been fulfilled and
accordingly the Transaction has been implemented in accordance with its terms.
