DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT
Holders of STANLIB40 securities ("Securities Holders") are referred to the
announcement dated Tuesday, 02 October 2012 setting out details of the
distribution for quarter ended 30 September 2012 (“the Distribution”), being
34.96000 cents per STANSX ETF security, and it’s constituents.
Further to the above-mentioned announcement, the manager of the STANLIB ETF
Collective Investment Scheme (“the Manager”) has discovered an error in the
constituents of the distribution. The correctly constituted distribution is
stated below. The total distribution of 34.96000 cents, remains the same.
Gross Dividend(local) : 18.30000 cents
STC credits : 2.41000 cents
Local Tax (15%) : 2.38350 cents
Net dividend : 15.91650 cents
Gross Dividend(foreign)to be taxed(15%) : 15.82000 cents
Foreign Withholding Tax (3.9190%) : 0.62000 cents
Tax Applicable (11.0810%) : 1.75300 cents
Net Dividend : 13.44700 cents
Interest : 1.46 cent
The Security Holders who are not exempt from dividend tax will receive the
