TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are
reasonably certain that the financial results for the current
reporting period will be more than 20% different from that of the
previous corresponding period.
The Board of directors of Marshall advises that headline earnings
per share for the 12 months ended 30 September 2012 are likely to
decrease by between 20% and 40% to those of the comparative period
last year, and earnings per share for the 12 months ended 30
September 2012 are likely to decrease by between 0% and 20% to
those of the comparative period last year.
Shareholders are advised that the above information has not been
reviewed or reported on by Marshall’s external auditors.
The preliminary announcement of the company’s results for the 12
months ended 30 September 2012 is expected to be announced on 20
December 2012.
