TRADING UPDATE AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
In accordance with paragraph 3.4 of the Listings Requirements
of the JSE Limited, a listed company is required to publish a
trading statement as soon as it becomes aware, with a
reasonable degree of certainty, that the financial results for
the next period to be reported on are likely to vary by more
than 20% from the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that for the year ended 31 December
2012 the company expects earnings per share (“EPS”)and
headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) to be in excess of 3.0
cents (2011: loss of 1.78 cents and headline loss of 1.47
cents, per share).
At this stage the company is unable to indicate a range for
expected EPS and HEPS and a further trading update will be
published in due course.
The financial information on which this trading statement is
based has not been reviewed or reported on by the company’s
auditors.
Shareholders are further advised that the company is in
negotiations, which if successfully concluded, may have a
material effect on the company’s share price and are advised
to exercise caution in dealings until a further announcement
is made.
