CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS: APPOINTMENT OF FINANCIAL DIRECTOR
Growthpoint has pleasure in announcing the appointment of Mr Gerald Völkel as Financial
Director of the Company with effect from 1 February 2013.
Gerald is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years’ relevant experience, initially with
Ernst & Young where he was an audit partner for four years and more recently with JD
Group Ltd where he served on the Board for twelve years.
Based on his past experience and qualifications, Gerald meets the eligibility criteria for the
position, as has been verified by the members of Growthpoint’s Audit Committee in
accordance with Section 3.84(h) of the JSE’s Listings Requirements.
We welcome Mr Völkel to the Group and look forward to his contribution to the Growthpoint
Group.
