CHANGE IN THE FUNCTION OF A DIRECTOR AND RESIGNATION FROM THE AUDIT AND
RISK COMMITTEE
Due to her acceptance of an appointment with a significant shareholder of the company, Fundiswa Roji is
no longer an independent non-executive director of the board of MiX. Accordingly, with effect from 8
February 2013, shareholders are advised that, Fundiswa Roji has resigned as a member of the audit and risk
committee of MiX (“the committee”). She will, however remain a non-executive director of the board of
MiX as well as a member of the social and ethics committee.
Notwithstanding the resignation of Fundiswa Roji as a member of the committee, shareholders are advised
that the committee remains compliant with the provisions of section 94 of the Companies Act 71 of 2008, as
the three remaining members of the committee are independent non-executive directors.
