Changes to the Board
PPC announces that Mr Helepi has resigned as an executive
director of the company and its associated boards with effect
from 14 February 2013, to pursue other interests outside the
PPC Group.
Mr Helepi joined PPC during 2007 and was appointed to the
board during 2009. During his career spanning more than 5
years with the company, he served in various operational roles
and as an executive director on the board where he has been
responsible for organisational performance.
Mr Helepi was instrumental in driving PPC’s transformation
strategies which resulted in PPC being rated a BBBEE Level 2
Contributor, successfully converting old order mining rights
and being recognised among top empowerment companies.
The board would like to wish Mr Helepi well in his future
endeavour.
