TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are reminded that the company has changed its year-end from 31 March to
30 June each year in order to align its year-end with that of its holding company. The
company accordingly prepared audited financial statements for the fifteen months ended
30 June 2012 and these reflected a headline loss and loss per share of 3,49 and 3,83 cents
per share respectively.
Notwithstanding the change in year-end, for trading statement purposes for the new interim
period, being the six months to 31 December 2012, the company is required to compare the
expected headline earnings and earnings per share to the interim results for the six months to
30 September 2011. Shareholders should take note that the periods being compared are not
strictly comparable due to different trading patterns and conditions.
Shareholders are therefore advised that it is anticipated that the headline loss and loss per
share for the six months ended 31 December 2012 will be between 0,18 cents and 0,22 cents
per share compared to a headline loss and loss per share of 2,52 cents for the six months
ended 30 September 2011.
This financial information has not been reviewed by or reported on by the auditors of the
group.
